Dr. Hovda graduated from IU School of Dentistry with High Distinction. Prior to her dental studies, she obtained degrees in both Biology and Chemistry and graduated Cum Laude. She was nominated and is an active member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, which represents only the top 5% of dentists in the nation. She was also nominated by her dental colleagues to serve on the dental ethics board. Dr. Hovda also served as an appointed professor at IU School of Dentistry, teaching restorative dentistry techniques.
Since she began practicing dentistry, Dr. Hovda has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that her patients receive the highest quality comprehensive and advanced dental care. Dr. Hovda and her team of highly trained professionals have been nominated by their dental colleagues as Indy’s Top Dentist 11 years in a row, from 2011 through 2022. Dr. Hovda has also been published for her cosmetic restorative implant cases in journals around the world. Dr. Hovda is an active member of the following organizations:

Dr. Hovda has been married to her husband Tim for 25 years and they have two children, Cooper (19) and Lily (17). In her spare time, Dr. Hovda enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family, cooking, and enjoying a good book.
